New Fleet – is a lot like a “new carrier” to CA-DMV for the IRP Department. A new fleet account is issued when you have ALREADY had an IRP in CA before (these are only allowed if you haven’t renewed or have closed the prior fleet).
IRP Apportioned plates give you the ability to drive interstate to all 48 states (some addiotnal permits may be required).
